To someone out there, don’t cry okay I know it sucks, being deprived of freedom, right when you are about to have the happiest moment of your life. Get well soon okay! I know the rules are damn ridiculous, but it just happens that you were sick at the wrong time. Just in case you think the world is against you, let me assure you that you are randomly selected. (That was a maths joke, anyway. Hope you got it. hehe)

Eh. I kinda miss you

Suddenly felt the urge to post something here. Yes I know I don’t update this blog often, since I am either too busy or too lazy to do so. So just to update a little here, here are the few things that happened since I came back here.

1) I was quarantined for one week when I came back here. Great. Spoiled my plan of watching Transformers. Had to postpone it after exams.

2) Luckily, there was still some reason for me to enjoy the quarantine period (aka LOA). Enjoyed The Underwears, and Grave’s new songs. Oh just in case you are confused, they are local bands from my home country and I directly translated their name to English. It sounds much better in Indonesian though

3) Anyway, went for my first paper after the LOA on Tuesday. Geog. Was quite alright, just didn’t happen to “spot” the questions correctly.

4) Chem on Thursday was okay. Grateful that the topics that I didn’t study didn’t come out much

5) Maths on Friday, should be okay. Went for dinner at IKEA after that. Swedish Meatballs. Fish and Chips FTW. Oh by the way I love IKEA’s store concept! Efficient.

6) Something had been giving me a sleepless night. *cough**cough*

Jigsaw falling into place

Okay so here I am back blogging. Sorry if I had not updated much in the recent weeks. Been too busy with all the piling work, and not forgetting the fact that my hostel’s internet sucks until the point it is way slower than my connection back in Indonesia (Just FYI, I use Telkomnet). Anyway, life’s not been very good for me. I shan’t disclose anything here. For those who know me well enough, you should know why.

I just got Taking Back Sunday’s latest Album! New Again, is their latest album that was just released 4 days ago. I had to say this album doesn’t sound like their previous album, Louder Now. Their first single, Sink Into Me, just lacks that cutting edge that makes them better than my favourite single, MakeDamnSure. Nevertheless, reviews said it is a good album. I shall just keep listening to it. Oh and by the way, I’m still waiting for New Found Glory’s Hit or Miss as well as Red Jumpsuit Apparatus’ Lonely Road

Okay I shall end off here. I want to play the Darwin game.

Anyway, I’ll be going back this Monday in the evening. haha.

An egotist approach to the game.

Finally, some time to update my blog. Been quite long enough since I last updated it. A lot of things has happened, but unfortunately I will not have any time to update you on that subject matter. Fortunately, I can update you with some news but sadly, it is likely to be a subtle rant (or bitching). So without further ado, let us get started.

Firstly, let me talk about principles. Personally, I live by my own set of principles. I think it helps me to spice up the already boring life. Just a few moments ago, I have encountered a situation whereby I feel that my life had been violated because someone had acted not according to what I believe in. I shall not elaborate on the details here, lest I will be labeled an egotist. I am aware of the fact that sometimes the rules that I set are ridiculous (a-la Sheldon Cooper). But really, how else can I escape from the sometimes unfathomable social life and indulge in mine?

Next up, we have the ever controversial Chelsea versus Barcelona match. I know it is kind of late, since most of you would already know what had happened on that day. 4 potential penalty calls went unnoticed (or maybe noticed, but for some reason or another, not given). I do not deny the fact that I am a Chelsea fan and there is a high possibility that my view on this will be heavily biased. But fret not. Media has reported that 2 out of 4 of the penalty calls are clear cut penalties. Moreover, the referee himself has admitted that he made a terrible mistake. Now, it is time for us to imagine. Let us say, Essien managed to clear the ball to safety instead of giving Messi a chance to pass it to Iniesta. We would not be talking about this, aye? Media will instead hail Hiddink’s approach to the game. Restricting a team like Barcelona to score is no doubt, a mammoth task. And Barcelona, most probably, will either a) Regret the fact that they could not score, b) Praise Chelsea for restricting them to score, or c) Whine and not accept the fact that Chelsea had defeated them by employing an ultra-defensive approach. All this made me think about life (and football, in particular). Now we have Manchester United versus Barcelona for the Champions League final. Let us hope it will be a high scoring game to satisfy the hunger of all the fans and of course, may the best team win.

I guess that would be all for now. I shall put in more effort to finish up the piling stack of work. This Wednesday, everything (well, almost everything) will be over. Cheers. And I am already itching to try Long Island, by the way.

Somehow, things happened this morning made me happy. Put my iPod on shuffle, and suddenly Dashboard Confessional’s “As Lovers Go” started playing. Skipped H3 in the afternoon due to peer pressure=p I feel like going to Parkway to buy my favourite $1 Bubble Tea. But I also don’t feel like going out. Hostel’s so empty today. Boring. And I just realised that those mental deviation that I quite often experience, was caused by one person. Yes, one particular person.
